Unknown to Vegeta, this decision of his to go after Frieza instead of Goku actually work in Goku's favor now. Because Goku recovered from their last battle he too also got major Zenkai boost. Not only that but Bulma's dad built Goku a ship that took ages for him to get to Namek. The fact that the ship could serve as a training room while he's on his trip to Namek actually gave Goku the advantage of training himself to be 5x stronger than before buffing him up and ready by the time he landed on Namek. Once he's there it's like a walk in the park, every one there are like flies to him that he could easily splat away. Everyone except Frieza of course.

Brian Drummond and Ian James Corlett would later voice Cheetor and Jetstorm together in Beast Machines: Transformers (1999-2000) a year later after they dubbed Dragon Ball Z voicing Son Goku (Kakarot), Cui and Vegeta and their studio ending their deal to air anymore episodes of the dub with company Ocean Studios for FUNIMATION in the USA by 1998 even though it would still air in Canada with the FUNIMATION and Ocean English Dubs in from 1999-2000 (FUNIMATION) and 2000-2003 (Ocean/Westwood) by then FUNIMATION had continued on with or without Ocean Studios since 1998 to present day despite closing down and be renamed CrunchyRoll recently. Scott McNeil and Ian James Corlett who voiced Piccolo Jr. and Son Goku would also voice in Mega-Man 90's cartoon as Mega-Man (Rock) which is funny because in the Japanese versions of the anime and games he's called Rockman and Proto-Man and Dr. Wily. Ian James Corlett also voiced Master Roshi for the rest of Dragon Ball English Dub in 1995 and Dragon Ball Z from 1996-1997 before being replaced by Peter Kelamis who would also voice Goku in 1997-1998 and Don Brown in the three dubbed Dragon Ball Z Movies, although Peter Kelamis did return to voice both characters a little bit before being replaced by Terry Klassen the voice Krillin for that dub who voice directed some other anime and cartoons like 2000's Transformers anime and MLP FIM cartoon. Kirby Morrow (RIP) would then voice Goku from 2001-2003 for the rest of the Ocean/Westwood English Dubs in Canada mostly before being cancelled where he was voicing Eric/Nutcracker in 2001 for Barbie and the Nutcracker. So, yeah Ocean/Westwood like using the same voice actors/actresses. Pauline Newstone (RIP) voiced Frieza in this English Dub and also voiced Airazor in Beast Wars: Transformers (1996-1999) during recordings of dubbing Dragon Ball Z into English.
